The Environmental and Safety Policy of Chemada

Chemada Ltd. is committed to manage all its activities - development, production, marketing and transportation in a responsible manner, complying with laws and regulations. Chemad's commitment to human health, safety, environmental protection and companies profitability is essential for its existence.

To achieve this Chemada will

    Comply with national and international regulatory requirement.

     Manage the company using the Total Quality Management concept based on ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001, and the parallel to OHSAS 18001 in cooperation with the relevant authorities involved with the issues of protection of the environment and safety.

    Chemada will endeavor to continually improve its environmental and safety performance by setting periodical targets in the relevant areas.

    Chemada will evaluate its performance on the effectiveness of its environmental and safety policies mainly in the following areas: raw materials, packing, energy, reduction of waste, emissions to the air, and constant improvement of safety level.

    Development of new products will be carried out with emphasis being placed on the sound use of natural resources and energy, prevention of damage to the environment, minimal production of waste, and adequate working conditions for its employees.

    All employees of the company are partners in this policy and Chemada views education and training of its workers as an integral part in the maintenance of their work quality and skills.

    Safety is a prerequisite to Chemada's success. All activities should be performed while using the proper protective measures ensuring the safety of workers and the environment.

    Leading managerial activity and support are essential for continues improvement of safety level, working conditions and the environment.

    Chemada will endeavor to work with suppliers, carriers and distributors who are committed to environmental and safety policies.

    Chemada's management is bound by this policy and will make available the resources to carry out this policy.
